33. My drivers speak in Kannada only

Clients cannot talk to drivers

I am a traditional Tamilian senior citizen living in Bengaluru for many decades. I have a fleet of fancy cars which I rent to my outstation clients when they visit Bengaluru for a few days at a time.

My drivers speak only Kannada, but my clients come from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai. Alas, my clients are unable to communicate with my drivers for anything as they move about the city.

Usually, visitors want help in directions, buying at a shop, making enquiries, giving timings, etc. They manage with minimal talk and sign language which is not optimal.

I feel it would be an advantage for my drivers to learn Hindi, English and Tamil.
